VERY HELPFUL TO EVERYONE. If you are seriously trying to form a "scenario" resource for your research, this book is a great addition.. Lucien shows great affection and caring for the horses he rode along the route, all from Al-Marah Arabians: AM Sweet William, AM Sea Ruler and AM March Along.The final chapter, "Our Future Environment: A Riddle and an Answer" brings the environmental issues home for all readers. How such a brief book was able to achieve so much is remarkable! I'd love to see the author write another book -- replete with the compelling and perfectly chosen photos like those in the first -- that I believe would become a textbook for those seeking to learn about ranching as well as a gift to be given by those who've been ranching for decades or centuries. Poor "RMS Queen Mary" ! This is the second time in recent expensive books where I have seen it misidentified . He was all of these things in all his professional identities, to some extent. This book is a lot of fun. Manual is in excellent condition. This is a dismal failure. Not exactly good role models, unless, of course, you like your heroes that end up in jail or dress like hookers.
