Martin was privy to documents from the Dewey Center that were just made available to the public. I have read dozens of books on the Titanic and seldom find anything new. This book has a lot of basic stuff about numbers, and I found much of that subject rather tedious and (dare I say it?) boring. ( I am a "hobby mathematician", so to the real student, it should not be hard)The book contains a number ( I counted about 30) of misprints, mostly not serious.( I read an authorized Chinese reprint, of course English language!, so maybe the original is still better.)All in all, I can recommend this book.. Nevertheless, this is out now, and is highly accurate.. This guide is old and out of date. is an absolutely fascinating and very worthwhile book.
