I admit a bit of disappointment in that Dewey's theories - - philosophical, psychological, and pedagogical - - were not explored as much as I had hoped. *Beebo Brinker*, one of these later books, is also republished by Cleis. Theres a book that would give you the same feeling you have when entering one of these hotels, that being; "You can check out but you can never leave!". It lead to four sequels and possibly more if the author had continued publishing.
