Good reads!!!. I bought the book and introduced it to him, and much to my delight he was excited about it as well. By the way, his designs are great!. Tens of thousands of males every year repeatedly ask the question of their doctors and friends: "What would you do?" -- Listen to what they tell you, but first read Bob Marckini's book so that you know what to expect and how you might predict their answer. My advise: search the internet for his designs and contact the manufacturer for a (free) catalog. I rated this book one star above the first reviewer >> because of the pics which I previously had not seen----not for the author's technical prominence. The main characters are interesting. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE that's all I can say! The information in this book is life changing. The shortcomings of this book made me more aware than ever that a full scale biography of Dewey, the psychologist, is needed rather than another biography of Dewey the philosopher, especially a tepid, uneven one like this.Martin, a humanities professor and a practicing psychonanalyst with an eclectic background occasionally deals with psychiatric disorder in Dewey's life (and the lives of his family members) and trots out some watered down neo-Freudian interpretations of his family life. This book provides a conceptual bridge between what is and what could be: A better world.I now consider myself better informed in an economic area of l

Easy to view because of their often colorful wings and day-flying habits, the butterflies are more popular than their mostly night-flying moth kin but are far outnumbered by the moths. Nancy BentCopyright © American Library Association. The diversity of colors and habits of butterflies and moths are highlighted in this beautiful new book featuring Martin's exquisite close-up photography. Although the text takes this beyond a coffee-table book, it is the beautiful photographs that will sell the book to libraries and readers. All rights reserved. From Booklist One in every 10 insects is a butterfly or moth, and everyone in the world can recognize a member of the family Lepidoptera. Photos reveal the uncoiled proboscis of the tropical queen swallowtail as it sips from damp sand, the plump underside of a chartreuse moth caterpillar as it rears up to confront the photographer, the thick "fur" and brushy antennae of a moon moth, and the mosaic of color in masses of resting monarch butterflies. Science writer Baran's text provides a wealth of detail on the ecology, anatomy, behavior, and life cycle of lepidopterans in succinct sections inters

Martin captures butterflies in spectacular images, while photographs of caterpillars and their metamorphoses invite readers to explore the vast diversity of the species. More than 200,000 kinds of butterfly and caterpillar have been spotted around the world-that's one in every ten insects. Photographer Gilles Martin brings this extraordinary slice of nature to the page in this gorgeous volume. From the recognizable Monarch to lesser-known types, Butterflies of the World gives readers an all-around look at this magnificent insect.. The pictures are complemented by text from animal behaviorist and nature expert Myriam Baran, who tells would-be lepidopterists everything they need to know about these animals. Butterflies are among the planet's most majestic creatures, their delicate forms sprinkled with brilliant color and rich with texture
